THE FORTUNE OLYMPICS

Our Olympic Party was a huge success with 18 countries represented. The Fortune Olympics started with Opening Ceremonies with each of the countries children marching in with their homemade flags.

Host country always marches last.

Next came "country" competitions followed by our own medal ceremony in which each child received a gold medal. After dinner each family presented facts about their country and then we were treated to live music from Parker and Colin Grubensky playing on the Accordion and Violin.

Team Brazil (The Hawkes) & Italy (The Brooks) threading the spoon!

Shelby & Sydney present Poland (Colin & Parker) with their medals.

At the end of the night, Scott showed a video about the Olympics and to talked about his Olympics experiences, teamwork, dedication, he answered some questions and showed his medals too! We were already excited about our trip but now we're even more excited. Hopefully some of our friends have caught the Olympic spirit too.

It was fun to see each of the families show their spirit in their own special way. All of the flags we're great and it was super neat to see them all around the fence. We had yummy food from each country and a presentations with some fun facts about each country from the kids.

A special thank you to Catie (Switzerland) and Gretchen (Italia) for taking such wonderful pictures.

Greece (The Moore's) take gold for best dressed
