Less than 48 hours until we leave for our trip to Germany, Switzerland, London & Paris. The girls are packed and have walked the block wearing their new suitcase/backpacks and for once Jana's suitcase is 90% done with time to spare!
Still some some last minute things to do/get before we leave but for the most part we're in good shape. The biggest thing left to do is get our house in order for the family of four from London that will be staying at our house. So yes, we did secure a house swap, however it's taken on quite a life of its own. It goes something like this:
We're staying at the Gorman's outside of London
The Gorman's are going to NYC
The Casserly Family is staying at our house
AND an unnamed San Diego family is staying at the Casserly's.
I highly recommend HomeExchange.com for your next vacation. An unexpected upside, it's amazing the projects that get done in preparation for total strangers coming to stay in one's house!
